The Cleveland Indians announced Saturday night that starting pitcher Brett Meyers will return to Cleveland on Sunday to have his right elbow examined by team doctors.
Meyers said after Friday's game that he has been dealing with tendonitis since spring training.

Shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera exited Saturday's game with a bruised right wrist. Cabrera slipped and fell down the dugout steps just minutes before game time.
X-rays on Cabrera's wrist came back negative. The team has listed him as day-to-day. Manager Terry Francona told the media after Saturday's game Cabrera might not play in Sunday's game as a precaution.
