ARLINGTON, Texas – Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz was forced to leave Tuesday's 14-11 victory after suffering a bruised quad after getting hit by a pitch running to first base.

Cruz said he was okay after the game physically, but that's not the biggest thing looming over the team's leading home run hitter and RBI producer.

Cruz, who's been linked to the Biogenesis case, said he's talked with his representative but hasn't decided what to do if he's suspended. There are reports that suspensions could be coming soon.

Cruz has heard nothing about that yet and continues to focus on baseball.

"I don't have control over any of that," Cruz said. "My only thing here is to play baseball."
