Canucks' Prust fined $5K for spearing B's Marchand in groin

Vancouver Canucks forward Brandon Prust was fined $5,000 by the NHL on Sunday for spearing Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand on Saturday night.

Prust received a 10-minute misconduct penalty for the incident in the third period of Boston's 4-0 win in Vancouver.

That's just nasty.

What's worse? Just listen to Prust's comments after the incident.

The $5,000 goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
