Several Texas football assistants in line for pay raises
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Texas is set to give three assistant football coaches large pay raises with the Longhorns coming off two straight losing seasons.
Regents scheduled a Thursday vote on pay hikes and to approve contracts for several new members of coach Charlie Strong's staff.

Regents are also set to approve contracts for new assistants Charlie Williams, Clay Jennings and Anthony Johnson, with salaries ranging from $325,000 to $400,000.
