Report: Vernon Adams on schedule?
According to Aaron Fentress of Comcast Sportsnet Northwest, a University of Oregon source has confirmed that Vernon Adams is on schedule academically and is expected to be eligible to play for the Ducks this fall.
Adams' status at Oregon was apparently in limbo last week as it was revealed that the former Eastern Washington QB did not graduate from his former school last spring.
However, the Oregon source, according to Fentress, added that the Ducks did not expected Adams to formally graduate until this summer.
Adams has already been admitted to the University but has not yet enrolled in class. He will not be able to do so until he has fulfilled his academic requirements at Eastern Washington. Because he is not officially a student at Oregon, Adams cannot use university facilities.
