MANHATTAN, N.Y. (AP) Chad Kanoff threw three touchdown passes and John Lovett accounted for four more scores as Princeton rolled to a 48-13 victory over Columbia in an Ivy League opener on Saturday.

Kanoff was 21 of 25 for 230 yards passing, and needs just 131 yards to become the 11th player in program history to throw for 3,000 career yards. Lovett ran in for three touchdowns from inside the 5-yard line, and tossed a 5-yard TD pass to Joe Rhattigan. Lovett has scored multiple touchdowns in five of his last seven games.

Lovett threw an interception to Brock Kenyon on the Tigers' opening drive. Anders Hill then led Columbia on an eight-play, 55-yard drive capped by his 4-yard scoring run.

Princeton (2-1, 1-0 Ivy League) punted on its next possession, then scored touchdowns on its next seven series between the second and third quarters.
