Clemson wide receiver Martavis Bryant will miss the next two games after injuring himself while working out.

Coach Dabo Swinney says the sophomore was working out in the Tigers strength facility Tuesday when he got hurt.

Bryant has caught two passes this season for No. 17 Clemson, but both have gone for touchdowns - a 22-yard TD against Ball State and a 39-year scoring catch against Furman.

Bryant caught nine passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns in 2011. He also returns kicks along with Sammy Watkins.

Bryant will miss the Tigers' game Saturday at Boston College and next week's home game against Georgia Tech.

Swinney says he expects Bryant to be back for the Virginia Tech game on Oct. 20, which comes after Clemson's open date.
