Valentino was 10-for-18 passing with 145 yards and an interception for the Flyers (5-1, 3-0 Pioneer League), and rushed for 77 yards on 19 carries. Justin Watkins caught five balls for 106 yards and a score.
Valentino and Watkins connected on a 29-yard touchdown in the second quarter to give Dayton a 7-0 halftime lead, and Valentino's 1-yard TD rush pushed the lead to 14-0 midway through the third.
Nate Miller's 36-yard field goal capped the scoring for the Flyers.
The Flyers, who increased their record in the all-time series to 7-1, capitalized on four turnovers by the Wildcats (2-4, 2-2) in the game. Dayton has won five straight since a season-opening loss to Urbana, a Division II team.
