Isidore Jackson scored two touchdowns and Bethune-Cookman's defense held on for a 23-18 win over Hampton on Saturday.

Jackson caught a 16-yard touchdown pass to give the Wildcats (9-0, 6-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) their first lead of the game, and scored on a 2-yard run early in the fourth quarter after Hampton (5-4, 4-2) went ahead 18-16 on Steve Robinson's 51-yard touchdown run.

The Wildcats took advantage of five Hampton turnovers, converting one for a touchdown on Daniel Rhodes' 54-yard fumble return that tied the game 20 seconds into the third quarter.

Bethune-Cookman, 9-0 for the first time since 2002, trailed in a game for the first time this season.

Jackson carried 22 times for 58 yards and Johnson completed 14 of 25 passes for 134 yards.

Robinson had 84 yards on seven carries for Hampton.
