Reggie Arceneaux scored 22 points and Wright State came on strong after a slow start to beat Virginia Military Institute 92-59 in a nonconference game Saturday night.

The Raiders (6-3) outscored the Keydets 32-12 over the final 12:31 of the first half after VMI (4-6) jumped to a 16-6 lead. Arceneaux and Miles Dixon scored nine points each during that closing run.

After VMI scored the first four points of the second half, Wright State went on a 19-6 run for a 57-38 lead with 13 minutes left.

The Raiders, who had been averaging 62.2 points per game, shot 52.4 percent (33 of 63), including 62.1 percent (18 of 29) in the second half.

Dixon scored 15 points and Matt Vest 11 for Wright State. Arceneaux had seven assists and Vest six.

Tim Marshall had 11 points for VMI. Stan Okoye, who came in averaging 20.7, was held to seven.
