Drew Kelly and Milton Chavis both notched double-doubles, leading Morehead State in a 100-48 rout over Asbury University of the NAIA on Thursday night.
Kelly scored 17 points with 10 rebounds and Chavis added 14 points and 13 boards for Morehead State (1-2), which outshot Asbury 43.8 percent (35 of 80) to 27.9 percent (17 of 61) en route to victory.
Terrance Hill also chipped in with 13 points for Morehead State, while both Dionte Ferguson and Ty Proffitt added 12 points apiece.
Kelly's dunk and jumper to start the game put Morehead State up 4-3 early and in front the rest of the way. Morehead State put together an early 25-6 run, led by 22 points at the half and outscored Asbury 55-25 in the second half to seal it.
Asbury (3-4) only had one player in double-figure scoring, getting 11 points from Austin Flannery.
