BU didn't draw up this game-winning play, but it worked

The final play of regulation quickly became a broken one for Boston University senior guard John Papale.

Papale lost the handle, but had enough time to flip a shot towards the rim. Somehow it found its way into the bottom of the net and Terriers defeated Lehigh, 75-73, at the buzzer on Sunday afternoon.

"Obviously, it was a broken play," Papale said after the game. "We were getting me the ball on the win, was gonna take one or two dribbles and the kid whacked it out of my hands. I just kind of picked it up, threw it up and it went in."

The 6-foot-3 senior ended with 10 points, three rebounds and two blocks.
