Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Stars Aligned

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 12:38 p.m. ET

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks travel to Big D and face a team that most experts expected to be leading or near the top of the Central Division this season.

The Dallas Stars defense just hasn’t been good enough this year, and that’s how you can go from division favorite to a team 5 points out of a playoff spot.

Every year the Chicago Blackhawks fans complain about the teams depth they have lost, but year in and year out they make the playoffs, while teams like the Dallas Stars struggle to consistently make the playoffs no matter how big of an expectation experts and fans of their team.

The Blackhawks picked up a big victory the other night when they finally played a pretty good third period.  One of the things that makes this season not seem like ones in the past isn’t a slump in January or February, but that they are struggling in the third period.

The Chicago Blackhawks will be looking to put back to back victories together tonight which would serve as a win-win with the Hawks putting them further away from the playoff picture.  We will see if the Hawks can put another good 3rd period together!
