Josh Norman blasts LT's remark that the NFL lacks a true shutdown corner

Josh Norman isn't shy about sharing his opinions -- on or off the field. So it comes as little surprise that he offered a rebuttal after former NFL running back LaDainian Tomlinson bemoaned the lack of a true shutdown corner in the league.

"If you say there are no shutdown corners, well there's no game-changing running backs today," Norman told NFL Network after being ranked No. 11 in its top 100 players list for 2016. "I was just with a guy named A.P., so I know he's a game-changing running back, you ain't got to tell me, man."

Worth noting: Tomlinson made that statement in March and followed up on Wednesday by stating that Norman was the "best corner last year."

In 2015, Norman parlayed a second consecutive standout season into a five-year, $75 million contract with the Washington Redskins in April after the Carolina Panthers removed the franchise tag they placed on him at the start of the offseason. Norman, 28, had four interceptions (two returned for touchdowns) and three forced fumbles last season, when he was named a First-Team All-Pro.
