There weren’t too many bright spots for the Houston Texans in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, but second-year linebacker Jadeveon Clowney was able to close out the second quarter on a positive note.
Clowney, the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, recorded his first NFL sack with a takedown of Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill with :50 seconds remaining in the half. The sack resulted in a 13-yard loss for the Dolphins.
The play marked the high point of a first half that left Houston trailing a 41-0 at the break.
