Tate's frustration boils over: 'They call the plays, I run the plays'

Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate is not a fan of losing football games. So, naturally, he's not taking the team's 0-4 start very well.

After putting up just 10 points in a Week 4 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Tate had no explanation for Detroit's total lack of offense.

"I don't know, man," Tate said, per Justin Rogers of MLive.com. "All they do is call the plays, I run the plays. That's all."

When pushed about the success the Lions experienced on a 90-yard drive to end the game, Tate doubled down on his stance.

Tate set career highs with 99 receptions and 1,331 yards last season. He is not on pace to come anywhere close to those figures this season. Through four games, the sixth-year pro has 18 catches for only 190 yards. He hasn't scored a single touchdown, either.

As the Lions try to get Tate and the rest of the offense back on track, the Pro Bowl receiver expects more of the same moving forward.

"We'll just design some more plays and I'll run them the best I can, try to give this team the best chance I can at winning," Tate said, via MLive.com.
