Ansah out for Lions; Woodley out for Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without two of their defensive cornerstones for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Linebacker LaMarr Woodley and defensive end Brett Keisel were placed on the inactive list. Woodley is dealing with a calf injury while Keisel is out with plantar fasciitis in his foot. Ziggy Hood will start in place of Keisel and rookie Jarvis Jones will fill in for Woodley.

The Steelers also made guard Ramon Foster inactive because of a right ankle problem. Guy Whimper will start for Foster.

Detroit rookie defensive end Ziggy Ansah will miss his second straight game because of a sore left ankle. Ansah will be replaced by Devin Taylor. Wide receiver Nate Burleson remains out as he recovers from injuries suffered in a car accident in September.
