The inaugural Hurst Nationals will be held in July 2017 at the Carlisle Expo Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

While the Hurst brand has been around for nearly 60 years, there has never been one single car show where all Hurst-prepared vehicles have evenly shared the spotlight.

That will change with the inaugural Hurst Nationals from July 14-15, 2017, as all Hurst-prepared vehicles from AMC, Chrysler, Ford and General Motors will be welcomed for display.

Over 400 vehicles are expected to be on hand while, just one block away, over 2,700 Mopar show vehicles will be on hand by the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. Admission price will cover both events, and a free shuttle service will be able to transport attendees back and forth between the two events.

Famous Hurst-prepared vehicles through the years have included the Olds 442, the SC/Rambler, the Hurst Jeepster, the 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst and the Hurst Pontiac Grand Prix SSJ. Hurst returned in 2009 with the Hurst Edition supercharged Challenger, with Mustangs, Camaros, Rams, Chrysler 300s, Vipers and Chargers soon following.

Additionally, Hurst has also built several famous drag packages through the ages, with the 1968 Hemi Darts and Hemi Barracuda Super Stocks being contracted to Hurst by Chrysler. The Super Stock AMXs were also build by Hurst for 1969. The Hurst Hemi Under Glass and the Hurst Hairy Olds are among two of the most famous exhibition drag cars ever build, and organizers are hoping to have as many of the aforementioned cars as possible on hand for the 2017 Hurst Nationals.

Of the 400 Hurst-prepared vehicles expected at the event, 40 of them will be on display inside the 30,000 square foot facility, while the rest will be located outside. Vendors, special guests, memorabilia, displays and food vendors will also be on hand to add to the experience.

More information about the event is available at the Carlisle Events’ website and Facebook page.
