SEATTLE (AP) The Seattle Mariners activated second baseman Dee Gordon off the 10-day disabled list before Thursday night's game against the Texas Rangers and reinserted him into his customary leadoff spot.

Infielder Gordon Beckham was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma to make room for Gordon on the roster.

Gordon was placed on the DL with a fractured right big toe on May 22, retroactive to May 21. Gordon originally injured the toe on May 9 in Toronto and aggravated the injury 11 days later in Detroit.
