John Daly won his first golf tournament in 13 years Sunday, holding on in Texas to win the Insperity Invitational by one stroke over Tommy Armour III and Kenny Perry despite carding three consecutive bogeys over his final three holes. Daly's last win came at the 2004 Buick Invitational

Daly shot a 65 on Saturday to take the lead entering the final round, and he got off to a perfect start Sunday, making an eagle on the opening par-5 1st. Daly rolled his fifth birdie of the day on the 15th hole to take a commanding lead, which meant his late slide wasn't too costly.

Walking up the 18th fairway needing just a bogey to win, Daly knelt to the ground and kissed the Arnold Palmer umbrella painted on the grass.

Daly just missed his par putt, but it didn't matter. After tapping in, Daly's colleagues rushed the green to douse him in champagne.
