TORONTO (AP) Former Australia captain Steve Smith was out for 10 in his second match at the Global T20 Canada on Saturday.

Smith, unable to play for Australia while serving a 12-month ban for ball-tampering, hit a couple of boundaries then pulled Canada medium-pacer Satsimranjit Dhindsa straight to Hassan Khan at deep square leg.

Smith scored 61 in his first match on Thursday.

Smith's departure left Toronto Nationals on 33-4 in the sixth over. They recovered to make 169-7, thanks to Nitish Kumar's 55 off 37 balls, Kieron Pollard's 28 off 16, and Mohammad Naveed's 26 off 13.
