Weymiller, Northern Iowa run over Missouri State 25-10 (Nov 11, 2017)

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) Marcus Weymiller ran 25 times for 131 yards and a touchdown and Northern Iowa scored the first 19 points on its way to a 25-10 win over Missouri State on Saturday.

Weymiller scored for the Panthers (6-4, 5-2 Missouri Valley) on a 2-yard run to cap the game's opening drive and Sam Drysdale missed the point-after attempt to leave it at 6-0. Drysdale followed with a pair of field goals and Elijah Campbell returned an interception 35 yards to make it 19-0 with 4:15 left in the second quarter.

The Bears (3-7, 2-5) scored their only touchdown on Jason Randall's 6-yard run with 54 seconds left in the half, but Drysdale kicked his third field goal of the second quarter with 12 seconds left to make it 22-7 at the half.

Zach Drake's field goal cut the deficit to 22-10 in the third quarter and Drysdale made his fourth field-goal attempt to cap the scoring in the fourth.
