UNC Greensboro's balanced attack downs N. Kentucky 67-50

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Angelo Allegri scored 12 points and Kyrin Galloway scored 10 and UNC Greensboro beat Northern Kentucky 67-50 on Saturday.

The Spartans (10-3) now have won seven of their last eight games.

UNC Greensboro led 34-25 at intermission and emerged from the break to take control with a 14-0 run. Allegri made a 3-pointer, a layup and jump shot in succession to give the Spartans control for good. Tyler Sharpe's 3-pointer with just under 16 minutes remaining were the Norse's first points of the second half.

James Dickey finished with 13 rebounds and four blocked shots. UNC Greensboro's bench outscored NKU's 30-7.

Sharpe finished with a career-high 33 points and made 10 of Northern Kentucky's 14 total field goals. Trevon Faulkner, Silas Adheke and Tre Cobbs were the only Norse (8-4) to register field goals.
