Jimi Manuwa used his platform following a huge win at UFC London to call out boxing champion David Haye, and if you believe the former WBA titleholder, “Poster Boy” could be getting his wish.

Haye, a former cruiserweight and WBO international champion, was participating in a Q&A with fans on social media when he was asked about the callout and a potential fight with the budding MMA star. The answer for Haye was an easy one and according to the Londoner, he’s already heard from the UFC on the topic.

"The answer is a resounding yes!" Haye said, according to Boxing News Online. "I was very impressed with his quick knockout the other night at the O2 Arena. If any of the mixed martial artists can convert over to be a successful boxer he has definitely got the body shape and style to do so."

“Yeah, we have heard from Manuwa’s management and UFC so it is something that we are looking at, at the moment. Obviously, it is a little way off being confirmed. But it is a fight that would unify a lot of the fans from both UFC and boxing and make a mega event.”
