Texas freshman G Flores tears ACL

Texas freshman point guard Lauren Flores will miss the rest of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee in practice.

Flores played in 25 games, averaging 2.4 points. Texas officials said she was injured Monday.

The No. 18 Longhorns (19-9, 8-6 Big 12) play their final home game of the regular season Wednesday night against Missouri (11-16, 1-13).
