Houston women's basketball player Landry Porsche has been taken to Georgetown University Hospital after a head-to-head collision with a Georgetown player during Saturday's game.

Porsche and Georgetown's Samisha Powell were scrambling for a loose ball under the Houston basket when they collided and banged heads. Porsche initially stood up on her own, then fell to the floor and stayed down for about 15 minutes before being taken off on a stretcher. Georgetown SID Barbara Barnes says Porsche is moving her extremities but is going to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

Porsche is a senior guard for the Cougars. She became the 21st member of the schools' 1,000-point club last season and is one of only four players in Houston history with 1,000 points and 300 assists.
