Tigers tie up loan for Carson

Carson will provide cover for injured duo Adriano Basso and Peter Gulacsi at the KC Stadium and fight fellow loanee Vito Mannone for a starting spot.

The 23-year-old has been with the Black Cats since 2004 and is currently behind Keiren Westwood, Simon Mignolet and Craig Gordon in the pecking order at the Stadium of Light.

He made eight appearances on loan at Bury earlier in the season and has previously spent time with Chesterfield, Lincoln and Brentford.
