Hughes not keen on Duff exit

Rovers had been linked with a double swoop for former players, with Duff and Manchester City Roque Santa Cruz their apparent targets. But Cottagers boss Hughes said of the Ireland winger: "There was something in the press and I think Blackburn were trying to make contact with me to discuss the situation. "But he's not available. He's part of what we're doing so the conversation doesn't need to take place. "He's contracted to Fulham and I have to protect the interests of the club. Allowing a player of Damien Duff's quality to leave would be bad management."
