Goodson scores 1st goal following World Cup

American defender Clarence Goodson has scored his first goal following the World Cup, helping IK Start to a 2-1 victory at Sandefjord.

Playing his third match since returning from South Africa, Goodson tied it in the 33rd minute with a header off a corner kick on Saturday night.

The 28-year-old, who played at the University of Maryland, has two goals in 14 appearances for the U.S. He didn't appear in any games in this year's World Cup.
