England, Ukraine won't train on storm-hit pitch

UEFA says England and Ukraine will not train in the Donbass Arena before Tuesday's European Championship game after the playing surface was damaged by a torrential downpour.

Ukraine's match against France at the Donetsk venue was suspended for nearly an hour on Friday after rain flooded the pitch.

And UEFA says to protect the pitch, England and Ukraine will stay off it on Monday ahead of the following night's Group D finale.

Instead, England plans to train at its base in Krakow, Poland on Monday before flying to Ukraine.
