Cameroon won AFCON with this jaw-dropping goal from Vincent Aboubakar

Cameroon are Africa Cup of Nations champions for the first time since 2002, coming from behind to beat highly favored Egypt 2-1 in the final. Cameroon upset Ghana to get this far, and they pulled off another upset in the final, deservedly storming back to beat the Pharaohs.

Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny opened the scoring for Egypt midway through the first half with a beautiful near-post finish, before Lyon defender Nicolas N'Koulou leveled it up in the 59th minute, with Cameroon looking increasingly more positive.

Egypt were pushed back, and looked like they were struggling to make it to full time when Cameroon got their winner, courtesy of this wonderfully deft piece of skill from Vincent Aboubakar who came off the bench to become a hero.

The touch to chest it down, the flick, and the perfect volley. Everything about this goal just screams "I WAS MEANT TO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP." It's "cometh the hour, cometh the man" type stuff, and it's the exact kind of storybook finish that bring out all the cliches.

Aboubakar's name will go down in AFCON and Cameroonian history, and he deserves it.
