Team news for Tuesday's League One clash between Bury and Carlisle at Gigg Lane.

Zac Thompson and Dominic Poleon are in line to make their Bury debuts in the re-arranged League One clash with Carlisle.

The 19-year-old duo joined on a month's loan on Monday, with Leeds boss Neil Warnock intent on them tasting regular first-team football, and they are expected to be thrust into action as Kevin Blackwell's basement boys chase an elusive maiden league win this term.

The Shakers remain without David Healy, who is on international duty for Northern Ireland's World Cup qualifier against Portugal.

Fellow forward Lenell John-Lewis is a long-term absentee with a knee injury, as is defender Phil Picken.

Carlisle's trip to Gigg Lane was due to take place a fortnight ago but a heavy downpour ahead of kick-off rendered the pitch unplayable.

Carlisle hope to extend Watford striker Joe Garner's loan spell in time for the midweek clash.

Garner played the final game of his initial one-month stay at Brunton Park in Saturday's 4-0 home defeat to Notts County and boss Greg Abbott is keen to conclude an extension in time for the trip to Gigg Lane.

Teenager Dave Symington missed out this weekend due to shingles and remains doubtful, while fellow winger Jon-Paul McGovern is struggling with a recurrence of hernia trouble, which required surgery in the summer.

Abbott is expected to make several changes after his side crashed to the club's worst home defeat in nine years at the weekend, with defenders Frank Simek and Peter Murphy, plus midfielder Liam Noble all pushing for recalls.

The Cumbrians have won only once at home in the league this season, but have fared better on the road and will be chasing a fourth straight away win.
