UCLA's 66-64 win over Arizona in the semifinals of the Pac-12 tournament on Friday night came with a major loss.

Freshman guard Jordan Adams broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot and is out for the season, the school announced.

Adams left the MGM Grand Garden Arena on crutches, according to reports. Adams suffered the same injury in high school.

The injury occurred on the last play of the game while trying to defend a shot attempt from Arizona's Solomon Hill, according to CBSSports.com. Adams was instrumental in the Bruins win on Friday night scoring a game high 24 points and helping the Bruins erase an 11-point second half deficit. Adams scored 13 in a row for the Bruins during one stretch to help the Bruins' comeback.

With the Adams injury, the Bruins are now down to seven healthy scholarship players beginning with Saturday's Pac-12 tournament final against the Utah/Oregon winner.

Adams is the team's second leading scorer this season, averaging 15 points per game.
