Rangers have a special Tweet for fans

Get your thumbs ready – The Texas Rangers and @Rangers have announced the first #TexasTweetUp on June 30.

Twitter-proficient fans can participate in a special program prior to the A's-Rangers game at 6:15 p.m.

The #TexasTweetUp will be from 4-5 pm in the Hall of Fame Theater. Fox Sports Southwest reporter Emily Jones (@EmilyJonesFSN) will host a roundtable discussion featuring members of the media who cover the team on a daily basis.

There will be special guests including Chuck Morgan (@TexPAMan), the Voice of Rangers Ballpark, and a Rangers player to be announced.

Tweeting will be encouraged throughout the event.

Space is limited for the program. Ticket packages can be purchased online at texasrangers.com/texastweetup.

Each #TexasTweetUp package includes a ticket to the game and a #TexasTweetUp T-shirt. Prices are $42 for Lexus Club Terrace and $35 for Upper Box seats.
