Oshawa beats Kelowna 2-1 to reach final

QUEBEC CITY (AP) Cole Cassels and Tobias Lindberg scored in the second period and the Oshawa Generals beat the Kelowna Rockets 2-1 on Tuesday night in the Memorial Cup.

The Ontario Hockey League champion Generals (3-0) finished first in round-robin play to advance to the final Sunday.

Gage Quinney scored for Western Hockey League champion Kelowna (1-2).

On Wednesday in the final round-robin game, host Quebec (2-1) will face Quebec Major Junior Hockey League champion Rimouski (0-2).
