Kyle Busch's suspended crew chief is still at Dover race -- in a way
Never let it be said that the Joe Gibbs Racing crew doesn’t have a sense of humor.
Kyle Busch’s crew chief Adam Stevens and front-tire changer Josh Leslie aren’t with the team this weekend at Dover International Speedway, because they are serving one-race suspensions for lug nut shenanigans last weekend at Kansas Speedway.
But even though Stevens is gone this weekend he’s hardly forgotten: There’s a big picture of the crew chief attached to the team’s tool box at Dover.
And even without Stevens and Leslie, Busch is one of the favorites to win Sunday’s AAA 400 Drive For Autism NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race (FOX 12:30 p.m. ET).
In his last six Cup races, Busch has five victories and two runner-up finishes. And he was fastest in Saturday morning’s first Cup practice.
