TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) Courtney Force won her second straight Funny Car race, capturing the rain-delayed NHRA Heartland Nationals on Monday.

Force powered her Chevrolet Camaro to a pass of 3.928 seconds at 329.83 mph to defeat defending world champion and teammate Robert Hight in the final round.

This was the first time Force has won consecutive races. It was her third victory of the season and 11th of her career.

Force called her back-to-back victories ''just insane.''

''I got on the radio and told my guys that they're unbelievable and that it's so much fun to drive this race car,'' Force said. ''Coming out to a track where the conditions have changed a lot, I have to give credit to my crew chiefs Brian Corradi and Dan Hood.''

Clay Millican (Top Fuel) and Deric Kramer (Pro Stock) also won at Heartland Motorsports Park in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. Force, Millican and Kramer were the No. 1 qualifiers.

Millican won for the second time in his career, defeating Terry McMillen in the finals. Kramer recorded his first victory, winning in a Chevrolet Camaro to defeat two-time world champion Erica Enders in the final round.

All track activity was called off Sunday night because of the weather, allowing for only two rounds of eliminations for Top Fuel and Funny Car and one for Pro Stock.

The series resumes May 31 at the Route 66 NHRA Nationals in Joliet, Illinois.
