LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) The International Gymnastics Federation has lifted the suspension of its vice president, Michel Leglise, who had been sanctioned for his role in overseeing a judging course.

FIG says its appeal tribunal reduced the French official's sanction to a warning for ''negligently failing to properly supervise the conduct of and marking'' at a judging course.

The governing body says Leglise can resume the vice presidency ''without being in charge of any given discipline.''

Leglise had challenged his two-year ban from the governing body's presidential commission. He had been suspended in September 2014 through August 2016.

Leglise was the most senior official among several implicated following a training course for rhythmic gymnastics judges held in 2012 in Bucharest, Romania.
