Argentina's Miguel Carballo won the Children's Hospital Classic on Sunday for his second career Nationwide Tour title, making three eagles in an 8-under 64 en route to a two-stroke victory.

Carballo, also the 2007 Panama Championship winner in his first tour start, finished at 24-under 264 at Black Creek Mountain. He earned $90,000 to jump from 21st to fifth on the money list with $248,971. The top 25 after the final three events of the season will earn 2012 PGA Tour cards.

''I can't describe this feeling,'' said Carballo as his caddie interpreted for the media. ''This is absolutely spectacular.''

A playoff loser two weeks ago in the Soboba Golf Classic in California, Carballo eagled the par-5 sixth, and made 30-foot eagle putts on par-5 14th and par-4 15th.

''I was talking to my caddie and we just decided to hit it at the green,'' Carballo said about the 347-yard 15th. ''It was a great shot, about 30 feet, right in the middle.''

Carballo's second shot at the next hole, a par 4, nearly went in for another eagle, but settled less than 2 feet from the cup and he made birdie.

Third-round leader John Mallinger shot a 75 to tie for sixth at 17 under.

''I thought I was mentally strong coming out of the gate with birdies,'' Mallinger said. ''I made a couple of bad putts, then one bad swing. It was a shocker. I can't really explain it.''
