Tai Wesley had 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead Utah State to a 68-51 victory against Cal State Bakersfield on Wednesday night.
Tyler Newbold added 13 points for the Aggies (6-3), who committed just five turnovers, one in the first half.
Stephon Carter scored 11 points and Trent Blakley 10 for the Roadrunners (1-7), who trailed 34-17 at halftime.
A 27-2 run over a 12-minute period in the first half gave Utah State a commanding lead. The Aggies made 11 of 21 shots from the floor during the run.
