SIU-Edwardsville routs Robert Morris, Ill., 74-40

Nikola Bundalo scored 16 points Saturday night to lead Southern Illinois-Edwardsville to a 74-40 victory over Robert Morris, Ill.

Cornelius Chatt and Michael Messer added 13 points apiece for the Cougars (7-19), who led 33-13 with barely 14 minutes elapsed and were never threatened. Kevin Stineman added 10 points. Chatt had seven assists, and Corey Wickware posted four steals.

The Eagles (13-13), based in Springfield and members of the U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association, got 15 points from David Trey and 11 from Anthony Patton in dropping their fifth in a row.

The Cougars shot 49.2 percent (31 of 63) and held a 47-24 rebounding advantage over the Eagles, who were limited to 30.2 percent shooting (16 of 53).

SIU-Edwardsville led 39-15 at the half, and the lead crested at 56-21 with 13:05 to play.
