Don't drop the confetti just yet, but the Indiana Hoosiers are No. 1 in college basketball — at least in the coaches poll.

Indiana was No. 1 in the USA Today preseason coaches poll released Wednesday, getting 21 of 31 first-place votes. The Hoosiers are seeking their first NCAA Championship since 1987.

The Hoosiers return four starters, including star center Cody Zeller, from a team that went 27-9 last season, including 18-1 at home, won their first NCAA Tournament game since 2007 and reached the Sweet 16, where they lost to Kentucky. They led the Big Ten in scoring (77.9 ppg) but finished fifth in the conference.

Louisville was second in the poll with five first-place votes.
