Flora scores 24 as Seattle dominates Northwest 84-58

SEATTLE (AP) Jarell Flora scored 24 points to help Seattle dominate NAIA Northwest 84-58 on Monday night.

Flora was 3 of 6 from beyond the arc and 9 for 9 from the free throw line. Isiah Umipig made 4 of 7 from long range and scored 13 points, Manroop Clair added 12 and Jadon Cohee chipped in 11 for Seattle (5-5).

Northwest stayed close in the first half, trailing 24-20 at the 7:16 mark, but Deshawun Sunderhaus hit a jumper and Cohee nailed a 3-pointer to start a 12-2 run that led to a 37-25 halftime advantage for the Redhawks. The Eagles went scoreless for 4 minutes and 20 seconds during that run. Seattle opened the second half with a 14-6 run and was up 68-42 with 9:52 to play.

Dak Shagren and C.J. Carter had 13 apiece to lead Northwest.
