Suspended Binghamton University basketball coach Kevin Broadus is accusing the college of racial discrimination and wants to return to his job.

The charge is included in a New York State Department of Human Rights complaint filed in early March by Broadus. The complaint - against acting athletic director Jim Norris, Binghamton University, the State University of New York Board of Trustees and its chancellor, Nancy Zimpher - says Broadus was suspended because he's African American.

Broadus filed the complaint with the New York State Division of Human Rights, claiming his civil rights were violated when he was suspended from his head coaching position on Oct. 14.
