VIENNA (AP) The Austrian ski federation says former Four Hills champion Thomas Diethart has a severe concussion, a minor cerebral hemorrhage and a lung contusion from a training crash in Ramsau.

The federation says Diethart, who lost control of his jump shortly after leaving the take-off zone, is conscious and responsive. He has been flown by helicopter to a hospital in nearby Schladming.

Diethart won the stops in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Bischofshofen to take the prestigious Four Hills Tour title in 2014. The following month, he won silver in the team competition at the Sochi Olympics.

The 25-year-old Austrian's career has been halted by several injuries, and he hasn't competed on the World Cup circuit since March 2015.
