'Undisputed' debate: Odell Beckham Jr. in danger of becoming the next T.O.

Odell Beckham Jr. is on his way to becoming one of the NFL's all-time great receivers. However, Shannon Sharpe is afraid he's becoming the wrong one.

New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo said his star receiver needs to tone down his emotions on the sideline after his outbursts during Sunday's loss to Washington. Beckham responded by brushing off the comment and stating he'd continue to be himself.

That, Shannon says, is a bad sign that Beckham is becoming the next Terrell Owens.

"If he's not careful, he's going to be remembered as being more T.O. than Jerry Rice," Sharpe said on "Undisputed" on Friday.

"His talent is undeniable. He's the fastest in 30 games (to reach) 200 catches, 3,000 yards. But that's exactly what they said about T.O.

"T.O. got in no trouble off the field; once T.O. was on the field, he was great, he was a model citizen. It was when things didn't go his way, or he didn't get the ball in which he thought he should. (The problem was) when he came to the sideline."

Shannon added: "I don't have a problem with emotion because I think emotion is good. But uncontrollable emotion is bad. And that's what we're starting to see."

Skip Bayless thinks it's isolated to Beckham's matchups with Josh Norman.

"This kid has one nemesis in the league and his name is Josh Norman," Bayless said. "And every time he is confronted by Josh Norman, Norman wins the psychological battle because he immediately gets right under his skin and right in his head, and deep into his psyche. And Odell loses it. He loses control of his emotion, he goes blind on the football field and on the sideline because this guy sticks it to him like nobody else does."

Jason Whitlock thinks Odell is becoming another infamous hothead: Metta World Beckham Jr. Watch Jason's take in the video below.
