Rough night for Myles Jack as UCLA star falls out of first round

For all the storylines that came out of the first round of Thursday's NFL Draft, one of the biggest was whose name wasn't called. Versatile UCLA linebacker Myles Jack is still on the board despite many draft experts expecting him to be picked on Day 1.

Jack was the lynchpin of the Bruins' defense before suffering a season-ending knee injury during a practice in September.

Despite the injury, Jack's recovery seemed to be coming along smoothly, so much so that FOX Sports College Football Analyst Joel Klatt had Jack ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the draft on his Big Board earlier this week.

Here is how Klatt described Jack on Wednesday:

Unfortunately, teams appeared to be scared off by the injury. After being projected by some experts to go in the top 10, Jack fell out of the first round altogether.

Klatt joined FOX NFL Insiders Jay Glazer and Peter Schrager in the video below to discuss Jack's situation, during FOX Sports Radio's draft coverage Thursday.
