Jeremy Clarkson's message for F1's new owners

Published Feb. 10, 2017 2:09 p.m. ET

Jeremy Clarkson has a very sincere message for the new owners of Formula One.

Clarkson, 56, is best known for his roles as the host of “Top Gear” and “The Grand Tour.”

However, while very knowledgeable about cars and auto racing, Clarkson’s blunt humor sometimes makes it hard for viewers to take his messages seriously. Yet in a video published by DRIVETRIBE to Facebook on Thursday, Clarkson took a very different approach to ensure his message to the new owners of Formula One doesn’t get laughed off:

F1 has recently been taken over by Liberty Media, who have ousted F1’s former “supremo” Bernie Ecclestone in place of Chase Carey, Ross Brawn and Sean Bratches.

Liberty Media is looking at ways to improve the show of F1 in the near future, although the race formats for 2017 are expected to remain the same as previous years.
