Pedroia scratched against Astros with sore left knee

HOUSTON (AP) Dustin Pedroia has been scratched from Boston's game against the Houston Astros on Thursday night because of a sore left knee.

He was scratched about 20 minutes before first pitch and the team says he is day-to-day.

Brock Holt moved from right field to second base to take Pedroia's place and Blake Swihart was inserted into the lineup to play right field.
