NEWARK, Del. (AP) — Ryan Johnson scored 10 points and his last-second steal cemented Delaware's 70-66 defeat of UNC Wilmington Saturday night.

UNC Wilmington trailed by as many as 20 in the second half but scored 11 unanswered points to kick off a 16-2 run, slicing the lead to 69-66 when Devontae Cacok dunked on a putback with four seconds left. Cacok snared the rebound of a Delaware missed free throw with three seconds on the clock but Johnson picked off a Kai Toews pass as time ran out.

Johnson was one of four Blue Hens (15-11, 7-6 Colonial Athletic Association) to reach double figures — Ryan Allen led with 15, Kevin Anderson added 14, making all three 3-point attempts, and Eric Carter picked up his twelfth double-double this season with 12 points and 12 boards.

Jeantal Cylla scored 16 to lead UNC Wilmington (9-18, 4-9). Cacok finished with 11 points and 10rebounds.
